Yes. The current build is designed for browser-based H5 play with account login and online invite rooms.

Do I need an account before I play?

For the current launch flow, yes. Email registration/login and Google login are supported.

Can I invite friends?

Yes. You can create a private room, generate an invite link, and let friends join through that link.
